Wade Bradford is a playwright, a freelance writer, and an English professor. His plays have been performed in schools and theaters throughout the United States and England.

Experience:

Wade has written sixteen plays, each of which has been published. His most recent works include an adaptation of Hans Christian Andersen's "Thumbelina" and a comic take on fantasy tales titled, "CSI: Neverland." In August, 2007 his script, "Conflict," won East Repertory Playhouse's "Page to Stage" Playwriting Competition.

He has worked behind the scenes in scores of productions. From 1992 to 2000, he wrote and directed seven productions for Yorba Linda Civic Light Opera's youth theater. He currently teaches literature and composition courses at College of the Canyons (Santa Clarita, California).

Education:

A graduate of California State University, Northridge (CSUN), Wade received his B.A. in Creative Writing and his M.A. in Literature.

As a longtime lover of the stage, I shall create articles that explore the meanings of dramatic literature, the art of stage craft, and the subtle skills of great thespians, directors, and playwrights -- from antiquity to present day.
