Once a year, the Mystery Writers of America nominate mystery-themed novels, children's books, screenplays and stage plays.Submit your tales of murder and suspense before the November 30th deadline (pun intended). 2. California Musical Theatre Award Competition
The Beverly Hills Theatre Guild sponsors several playwriting events throughout the year. This Award is presented to the best new, unpublished musical. All entries must be created by a California resident.

The innovative and irreverant MabLab Theatre is hosting its ninth annual One Act Festival Competition. Submit your short play (between five and forty-five minutes).
