I need to follow my own advice on this one. I am working on a new show that opens at the end of this month, and I still need to memorize my lines. I will be doing some of these techniques in the next few days to get up to speed ASAP.

Step One: Read Out Loud (And Repeat, Repeat, Repeat)

For most performers, there is no short cut to memorizing lines. To learn lines, an actor must recite the play out loud, over and over again.
