Catching Up with "The Little Mermaid"

By December 1, 2012

Follow me on:

Our library of free-to-use original skits, scenes, and plays continues to grow! And very soon, the Plays/Drama Guidesite will be offering its first full-length play, royalty free. My adaptation of "The Little Mermaid" has been an ongoing project during the last few months. I was recently asked to write and direct an original version of "The Little Mermaid" for the Canyon Theatre Guild in Newhall, California. And I thought, why not make it avilable for schools and other non-profit organizations. Some of you have been sending me emails, asking, "Where is the rest of the script?" For awhile, the answer was: "It's still in my brain." However, I am happy to announce, all of Act One, and some of Act Two has been posted onto the Guidesite. Better yet, the first draft is complete, and it will be published online, in its entirety, in early December. Have you read the beginning yet?

Here's what has been published this November, if you'd like to continue the adventures of this stage adaptation of "The Little Mermaid."
